MCD Comet – Operation and system functions for TestStand®

Development and execution of individual test applications

MCD Comet extends test systems using TestStand® with a flexible user interface and functions for test operation. TestStand® controls and executes the test sequences. Comet combines these with type management, resource management, order management and process management. MCD Toolmonitors integrate measuring instruments and other hardware into the test system. The user interface can be adapted to the project and user requirements. An integrated script engine with debugger enables additional functions, while a state machine supports control of system states. Measurement data recording, logging and report generation make test results traceable. Self-tests, endurance tests and golden sample tests complement quality assurance. Comet therefore provides a common operating and system environment for TestStand®-based test applications.
